<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary tool for fixing a construction panel, which allows a fixing fitting to be easily rotated around a bolt so as to achieve reduction in construction labor and cost when the panel is fixed to a backing material, and prevents the fixing fitting from being detached from the backing material by rotation after the panel is fixed to the backing material. <P>SOLUTION: When the backing material 14 of a building is held between a fixing fitting 16 fixed to the panel 13 with a bolt 15 and the panel 13 so as to fix the panel 13 to the backing material 14, an auxiliary tool 11 for fixing a construction panel is mounted between the panel 13 and the backing material 14. The auxiliary tool 11 comprises a plate-like part 17, a fastening part 18 which is disposed at the plate-like part 17 for fastening the auxiliary tool 11 to the backing material 14, and a spacer part 19 which is disposed at the plate-like part 17 and mounted between the panel 13 and the backing material 14 for retaining the space between therebetween.
