<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building of masonry construction capable of improving designability. <P>SOLUTION: In a building 1 of masonry construction, a cover material 21 made of a material identical to a block material 3 is provided outside steel-framed circumferential girders 6A and 6B in such a manner as to be flush with a wall body 4, and the whole wall surface of the building is finished with the same texture. Additionally, since stringers 5 are contained in the plurality of block materials 3, the exposure of the stringers 5 do not deteriorate the appearance.
