PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of liquid crystal polyester is provided to easily collect a solid polymer attached to an inner wall of a solid polymerization container without scraping by applying impact to the solid polymerization container. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of liquid crystal polyester comprises: a step of obtaining a polymer melt material by melt-polymerizing a raw material monomer in a melt polymerization reactor; a step of obtaining granules by drawing the polymerization melt material from the melt polymerization container, and powderizing the polymer melt material to obtain granules; a step of obtaining a solid polymer(1) by polymerizing the granules in a solid polymerization reactor; and a step of applying impact to the solid polymerization container, and discharging the solid polymer from the solid polymerization container.
