<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor capable of rotating a rotor when failures occur in each of a plurality of driving systems, and an electric motor control device for controlling the motor. <P>SOLUTION: An electric motor 10 includes: a first field portion having three-phase windings 31-33; a second field portion having three-phase windings 61-63; and a neutral point connecting portion 21 for switching a connecting state of a first neutral point 34 of the first field portion and a second neutral point 64 of the second field portion. A control device 20 controls a connecting state of the neutral point connecting portion 21 according to a state of each winding 31-33 of the first field portion and a state of each winding 61-63 of the second field portion. For example, when a short-circuit failure occurs on a U-phase and a V-phase of the first field portion, and a U-phase and a V-phase of the second field portion can be used, the first field portion and the second field portion are coupled by the neutral point connecting portion 21, and a rotor 14 is rotated by a W-phase of the first field portion and the U-phase and the V-phase of the second field portion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
