System and method for filling a portable liquified gas storage/delivery device

A liquefied gas storage/delivery system (30) and method that includes a liquefied gas storage system (32). The liquefied gas storage system includes a housing (36) containing a storage vessel (38) suited to contain a supply of liquefied gas, such as liquid oxygen (LOX). A rotatable turntable (44) is provided on an exterior surface of the housing. An interface (46) shaped to match the shape of at least a portion of a portable liquid storage/delivery device is provide in or on the turntable. A connector (52) is disposed in the interface that couples to a corresponding connector on the portable liquid storage/delivery device (34). The two connectors are coupled by placing the portable liquid storage/delivery device in the interface and rotating the turntable.
