<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of coping with a change in the number of shipping destinations or the number of kinds of articles being an object of number display. <P>SOLUTION: The display device is arranged in a predetermined place and displays the number on the articles placed in the predetermined place, and includes a segment display part, an input part, and a first processing part. The segment display part is constituted of a plurality of segments and displays information on the article. The input part accepts an input of the number of the number display. The first processing part forms a small area corresponding to the number of the number display in the segment display part by switching a color of a predetermined area possessed by the segment display part based on the input accepted by the input part.
