PURPOSE: A fuel supply device of a fuel supply tank for a ship and a method for controlling the level of the fuel supply tank are provided to reduce a space for fuel supply facility in a ship. CONSTITUTION: A fuel supply device of a fuel supply tank for a ship comprises a single fuel storage tank(10), a plurality of fuel supply tanks(120), a single fuel supply pump(16), a level switch(18), and a control unit(20). The single fuel storage tank holds fuel. The fuel supply tanks individually connect a supply path(14) to the fuel storage tank. The fuel supply pump is installed in along the supply path and supplies the fuel to the fuel storage tank. The level switch detects the level of the fuel in the fuel supply tank. The control unit controls the operation the fuel supply pump according to the level of the fuel.
