SOLID DISPERSION CONTAINING CILOSTAZOL AND PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION COMPRISING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A solid dispersion of cilostazol and polymethacrylate copolymers, and a pharmaceutical composition containing the same are provided to quickly release cilostazol and to reduce the dosage. CONSTITUTION: A solid dispersion with polymethacylate copolymers contains cilostazol. The copolymer is a copolymer of methacrylic acid and methyl methacrylate, a copolymer of methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate, an ammonio methacrylate, or a copolymer of butyl methacrylate, (2-dimethyl aminoethyl)methacrylate, and methyl methacrylate. The solid dispersion additionally contains one or more polymers selected from a group consisting of hydroxypropylmethyl cellulose, polyvinyl pyrrolidone, crospovidone, or a copolymer of vinylpyrrolidone and vinyl acetate. An oral pharmaceutical composition contains the solid dispersion and a pharmaceutically acceptable additive.
