摘要 The invention relates to a passenger-car caravan semi-trailer according to the semi-trailer principle, the semi-trailer being constructed so as to be capable of being coupled on the roof of the passenger-car towing vehicle, in the centre of the imaginary intersection-point connections of the four wheels of the said passenger-car towing vehicle, and the alcove, viewed in the coupled state of the caravan/car combination, starting over the roof of the passenger car. A removable spherical head or a removable socket for receiving the socket or the spherical head of the semi-trailer is arranged on the roof of the passenger car, and a flat hat profile made of sheet steel is located under the inner roof lining of the towing vehicle. The caravan semi-trailer has a hydraulic brake system which operates with a partial vacuum, and the towing vehicle has a pressure cell connected to its brake circuit. In addition, on the roof of the passenger car there is a vacuum socket which is acted on by the vacuum pump of the vehicle via a hose guided through the front window strut. The caravan semi-trailer has a vacuum reservoir, the vacuum serving to actuate its electrically controlled main brake cylinder via a brake booster.
