PURPOSE:To permit easy and sure support of an insert for a mold as well as the smooth separation of the insert, by a method wherein a groove type insert supporting part, notched into a mold opening direction, is formed on a side wall for forming a cavity of the mold while a slide core for supporting the insert operating in conjunction with the insert supporting part is provided. CONSTITUTION:Slide cores 6 are projected into an insert supporting unit 4. The supporting part 8b of an insert 8 is arranged in the insert supporting part 4 of the side wall 3X for forming a cavity, from the side of the supporting part 4, while the slide core 6 is inserted into a slide core inserting part 11. A mold is closed and resin for molding is cast into the cavity C through a runner gate 7 to effect an insert molding. When the cast resin is cured, the slide core 6 is retreated from the insert supp orting part 4. Upon mold opening, a top force 3 and a bottom force 2 are separated relatively, and the supporting part 8b is narrowed as shown by two-dot chain lines and is slid in the insert supporting part 4 relatively into up-and-down direction, then, is removed out of the top force 3. |
