PURPOSE: A slag stabilizing method is provided to reduce costs by stabilizing slag generated when a dephosphorization process is implemented by the slag treatment water of a blast furnace instead of expensive sulfuric acid. CONSTITUTION: A slag stabilizing method is as follows. Slag is inserted into the slag treatment water of a blast furnace. Barium contained in the slag and sulfate ion in the slag treatment water of the blast furnace are reacted with each other to generate BaSO4(Barite Barium Sulfate). The slag treatment water of the blast furnace and the slag are separated. The separated slag is buried.
