<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal continuously variable transmission having a trunnion supporting structure which receives a traction force without an interval, thereby suppressing shock, etc., when shifting. <P>SOLUTION: In the toroidal continuously variable transmission, a tip end projection part 23Aa of a shaft part 23A which is assembled separately to an outer ring 28 is engaged with a recessed groove 16b formed in a central part inner side surface of the trunnion 15, so that a recessed groove 16b can receive the traction force applied to the outer ring 28 from a power roller 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
