摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the coolant to flow between a water jacket and a circulation path for a heater even if a valve requested to open is broken down in a closed state, and to avoid overheating or overcooling of an engine after managing the closing breakdown. <P>SOLUTION: An engine cooling device has a configuration including two or more valves 23 and 24 for allowing or blocking the coolant to flow between a water jacket 2 and a circulation path 3 for the heater. The device can manage the coolant to flow between the water jacket 2 and the circulation path 3 for the heater even if the valve requested to open is broken down in the closed state, by opening another valve when either of the valve requested to open is broken down in the closed state, and restricts a minimum value and a maximum value of an output of an engine 1 depending on the opened valve, to avoid the overheating or overcooling of the engine 1 after managing the closing breakdown. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
