PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable relay control in a format that an applicable relay control rule is made different according to not an uniform rule but the type of a service provided by an external server concerning not only communication from an internal terminal to an external server device, but also communication from the external server device to the internal terminal. SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus accepts and stores the setting input of a first relay control rule as a relay control rule applied to communication from terminal equipment to an external server device and a second relay control rule as a relay control rule applied to communication from the external server device to the terminal equipment, and to set the conditions of the external server device to which the relay control rule is applied to the relay control rule, and to, when obtaining communication between the terminal equipment and the external server device, specify the external server device which performs the communication, and to perform the relay control of communication by applying the relay control rule applied to the specified external server device.
