<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner with due considerations to global environmental protection having a superior low-temperature fixability, a wide fixing area, and blocking resistance. <P>SOLUTION: An electrophotographic toner includes at least: silylated polyester resin formed by silylating, with silylation agent, unreacted hydroxyl group being present in polyester resin that is a polycondensation product of rosin and polyhydric alcohol; and pigment. The rosin is one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of abietic acid, neoabietic acid, dihydro-abietic acid, pimaric acid, isopimaric acid, and sandaracopimaric acid, and the silylation agent is halogenated alkylsilane. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
