<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproof double glazing which is excellent in durability and fire and flame resistance and easily manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: In a fireproof double glazing 10, a butyl sealant having high moisture permeation resistance is used as a primary seal member 18A, 18B, and a flame retardant is mixed in the butyl sealant to improve the fire and flame resistant performance of the fireproof double glazing. The application amount of the flame retardant-mixed butyl sealant is prescribed to be 2 g or more and less than 7 g per 1 m length of a spacer. By prescribing the application amount to be 2 g or more, the durability of the fireproof double glazing due to displacement of a glass plate is improved, and by prescribing it to be less than 7 g, the fire and flame resistance of the fireproof double glazing is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
