<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy blank for press forming with high formability, high surface quality, and excellent hem bendability, and a press-formed body using the same. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing the aluminum alloy blank for press forming, among a region A of the blank with a region inside a punch shoulder projected onto a vertical plane with respect to a pressing direction, a region including a given region X is assumed as a restoration region and an entire blank except the restoration region as a non-restoration region. A restoration process including a step of heating the entire blank and a step of cooling the entire blank below 100°C is performed before press forming. Setting an attained temperature by heating to 200-300°C in the restoration region and 100°C to below 200°C in the non-restoration region, a heating rate in the restoration region to 5°C/second or higher, a retention time at the temperature to 20 seconds or shorter, a cooling rate to 5°C/second or higher, and a residence time of the blank at 100°C or higher within 2 minutes through the restoration process, a proof stress value in the region X alone is reduced to impart a strength difference in the blank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
