<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a switching element of an inverter device of an elevator control device from being broken due to decrease in service life or decrease in heat radiation performance. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator control device includes: a rectifier circuit for converting AC power from an AC power source to DC power; a smoothing capacitor for smoothing the pulsation of the DC power converted in the rectifier circuit; an inverter for converting the smoothed DC power to the AC power of a variable voltage and variable frequency, and outputting it; an electric motor for performing drive by the AC power outputted from the inverter and elevating and lowering a car; a fan for aircooling the inverter; a voltage measuring means for measuring the voltage of an element inside the inverter device; and a fan control means for controlling the rotation speed of the fan so as to improve aircooling ability by the fan when a voltage value measured by the voltage measuring means satisfies a prescribed condition indicating the abnormality of the switching element inside the inverter, after the start of the diagnostic operation of the switching element inside the inverter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
