<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical system having excellent optical performance, an optical device having the optical system, and a method for manufacturing the optical system. <P>SOLUTION: An optical system OS used for a camera or the like comprises, in order from an object side: a first lens group G1 having a positive refractive power; a second lens group G2 having a positive refractive power; and a third lens group G3 having a positive refractive power.
