PURPOSE: A method for displaying social network service(SNS) information in a portable terminal is provided to confirm data which a user desires to confirm among the data in an SNS application without executing the SNS application. CONSTITUTION: Data is displayed by executing an SNS application(S202). Requested data is extracted corresponding to an extraction range(S205). The extracted data is displayed corresponding to display setting(S207). When the displayed data is requested, an extraction range is set up from a user by displaying an extraction option.
