摘要 PURPOSE: A resin composition for an optical lens is provided to obtain excellent moldability and high refractivity by a simple process without being influenced of an external environment such as being influenced by the humidity of the external environment. CONSTITUTION: A resin composition for an optical lens comprises: a prepolymer which is obtained by an addition reaction of a mixture of a vinyl-based monomer and a mercapto compound under the presence of a catalyst; and an isocyanate compound. The vinyl-based monomer contains 50% or more of a compound which contains at least two or more vinyl groups. The prepolymer additionally comprises 0.05-5 parts by weight of a UV absorber, 0.01-5 parts by weight of a releasing agent, 0.05-5 parts by weight of a polymerization initiator, or 0.01-2 parts by weight of a pigment.
