#CMT# #/CMT# The collector (1) has a planar absorber (5) selectively coated at an upper side (5a), which faces towards the sun. The absorber receives energy of sunlight (2) and converts the energy into thermal radiation (3). The absorber is designed as a black radiator at a lower side, which faces away from the sun. The thermal radiation coming from the lower side strikes on an optical concentrator (6) i.e. parabolic mirror. The concentrator concentrates the thermal radiation on a receiver (7) i.e. absorber pipe.
