<p>The solar thermal power plant (1) comprises a Fresnel lens made of glass, acrylic glass, polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) material or plastic film, for focusing the sun's rays and transmitting the combined beams to a container system mounted with several individual containers which are filled with molten salt. Each individual container is made of heat and corrosion-resistant and thermally conductive material and is arranged for converting the focused rays of sun or thermal energy into electrical energy, based on the rotation of an electrical generator rotor.</p> |
