<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission apparatus that suppresses output fluctuations due to changes with time. <P>SOLUTION: In an embodiment, the transmission apparatus includes: an amplification section for amplifying an input signal; a compensation section for applying a predistortion to the input signal to compensate for a distortion of the amplification section; and a loop for feeding back a branch output signal from the amplification section to the compensation section. The compensation section includes a data generation section and a distortion compensation section. The data generation section generates compensation data required to apply the predistortion to the input signal on the basis of a result of comparison between the input signal and the output signal fed back. The distortion compensation section applies the predistortion to the input signal on the basis of the compensation data. Specifically, the compensation data includes first to third data. The first data is data for compensating for a nonlinearity of an output amplitude of the output signal dependent on an input amplitude of the input signal. The second data is data for compensating for a nonlinearity of an output phase of the output signal dependent on the input amplitude.
