<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker capable of recognizing a light receiving part by a user and surely performing infrared communication even when using narrow-directivity infrared communication protocol. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitting portion 260 is positioned in a manner to surround an infrared communication port 211 of a steam cooker.
