<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet ink composition which is inconspicuous in streak unevenness of an image, able to cope with both drawability and resistant abrasion and excellent in discharge stability, and an inkjet recording method. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet ink composition include: (component A-1) a compound expressed by formula (1) wherein R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, and X is a single bond or a bivalent connecting group; (component A-2) N-vinyllactams and/or tetrahydrofurfuryl acrylate; (component B) a polymerization initiator; and (component C) an inactive methyl methacrylate homopolymer and/or copolymer with a weight average molecular weight of 4,000-120,000, in which the content of component C is 0.3 wt.% or more and less than 2.0 wt.% based on the total amount of the ink composition.
