<p>A folding structure, comprising a first connector (1) and a second connector (2) respectively fixed to the ends of two folding rods (A). The first connector (1) and the second connector (2) are pivotably connected together via lugs (11, 21) formed thereby; a counteracting surface (14, 24) is formed at the lower part of each lug (11, 21) of the first connector (1) and the second connector (2), so that the first connector (1) and the second connector (2) can be unfolded into 180 degrees; a self-locking mechanism (3) is disposed between the pivotably connected lugs (11, 21) of the first connector (1) and the second connector (2); the self-locking mechanism (3) comprises a sliding block (31), a locking pin (32) driven by the sliding block (31), and a reset spring (33) for pulling and resetting the sliding block (31); the locking pin (32) is located at the front end of the sliding block (31) and is movably locked in a groove (13, 23) that the lugs (11, 21) are overlapped therein after the first connector (1) and the second connector (2) are unfolded; and the groove (13, 23) is formed at the lower parts of the lugs (11, 21) of the first connector (1) and the second connector (2). The folding structure can be used in foldable rod pieces or the parts folded at mid-section such as folding-table leg, folding-table surface and folding-bed and the like. The folding structure is structurally simple, provides firm support, and has wide applications.</p> |
