Chin rest for musical string instruments - has rubber-elastic layer of specified thickness and standardised compression deformation and hardness

The chin rest has foot area and holders fixing it to the string musical instrument coated by rubber-elastic layers at the contacts with the instrument. The layers (3,5) are min. 2-6 mm thick, with the min. thickness of the layers on the bottom or top surface of the instrument (8,9) to be 3 mm. The compressive deformation of the layers does not exceed 15 per cent. as per given standards. They have a hardness of 50-70 deg. Shore A, and recoil elasticity in excess of 40 per cent.. ADVANTAGE - Reduced impairing of tone quality, and improved security.
