The device has a tire sealing agent storage unit (10) for accommodating a tire sealing agent (12). A tire sealing agent discharge unit (14) is coupled with the storage unit. The discharge unit discharges the sealing agent into a tire (18) upon rapid reduction in tire pressure such as 0.1 bars per second, or when a tire pressure value provided by a pressure sensor element (16) is below a preset minimum pressure value. The storage unit comprises a rubber hose (28). The discharge unit comprises a communication element for wirelessly exchanging information with a vehicle control system.
