<p>An LED dimming method and LED dimming system, the LED dimming method comprises the steps of: calculating an equivalent current value (A) flowing through an LED according to the inputted duty cycle ratio information of a PWM signal; and adjusting the current flowing through the LED as the equivalent current value (B). Because the equivalent current flowing through the LED is equivalently calculated via the inputted duty cycle ratio information of the PWM signal without adjusting the duty cycle ratio, the linear adjustment to the change of the current flowing through the LED is achieved, thus improving dimming uniformity; and because the current flows through a transformer during the entire dimming period, no noise is generated by the transformer.</p> |
