PURPOSE: A method for arranging a small photovoltaic boat and designing a system thereof are provided to prevent air and water pollution by converting sunlight to electric energy to use as fuel without using gasoline or diesel. CONSTITUTION: A method for arranging a small photovoltaic boat and designing a system thereof is as follows. A motor and a propelling device(7) are arranged in a stern in consideration of propulsion performance and steering performance. A sunlight and motor controller is arranged in front of a passenger seat(11) to facilitate the control and monitor thereof. A propelling device is operated by a wire connected to a steering device(8) so that a rudder can be removed.
