PURPOSE: A chain supporting device for chain surface cutting machine capable of providing decorative effect and beautiful feeling by a high quality polishing operation is provided to firmly support a chain during a chain surface cutting process, thereby preventing a cutting tool from being easily broken. CONSTITUTION: A slider(122) has a fixed amount of tension by a spring(124). A chain is transferred along a chain transfer path. The surface of the chain is cut by a cutting tool(12). The slider firmly supports the chain. The both sides of the chain are supported by guide blocks(112a,112b). By means of the slider, the chain is pushed to the top.
