<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier for volatile organic compound decomposing fungus with which a volatile organic compounds can be decomposed efficiently in-situ treatment by utilizing high volatile organic compound absorbability of a specified polymer absorber, and to provide a method for clarifying contaminated soil by utilizing the carrier for the volatile organic compound decomposing fungus. <P>SOLUTION: The carrier for the volatile organic compound decomposing fungus is used to clarify soil or ground water contaminated by the volatile organic compound in situ, and includes the polymer absorber for absorbing and holding the volatile organic compound from the soil or the ground water and an activity promoting agent for the volatile organic compound decomposing fungus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
