<p>Disclosed in the present invention is a method for transmitting prompt information and a terminal, which method comprises: a first terminal and a second terminal establishing communication; the first terminal acquiring a language type currently used by the second terminal; and the first terminal selecting corresponding prompt information according to the language type and transmitting the prompt information to the second terminal. By virtue of the present invention, corresponding prompt information can be selected according to the language type of a peer to prompt the peer during communications such as videophone and so on, which greatly improves the availability of the terminal and the user experience.</p> |
