<p>PURPOSE: An active hood device for a vehicle is provided to lower the position of a hood and an actuator to restore the original position of a hood and an actuator with less power by installing a restoring link as a lever. CONSTITUTION: An active hood device for a vehicle includes a hinge assembly(10), an actuator(20), and a restoring link(14). The hinge assembly is mounted on the left and the right sides of the hood and provides the hinge point for the hood when opening and shutting. The actuator lifts the hood and also supports the hinge assembly. The restoring link is hinge-connected at the fixed point of the actuator to a hinge arm(11) of the hinge assembly fixed on the hood. The restoring link rotates interlocked with the hood. The restoring link rotates around the hinge joint of the lower part bonded to the restoring link on the fixed point of the actuator.
