PURPOSE: An encoding method and an apparatus thereof are provided to induce a security key applied to direction communication between terminals. CONSTITUTION: A processor(610) induces a DTEK(Direct communication Transport Encryption Key) from a DAK(Direct communication Authentication Key). The processor encodes a direct communication packet by using the DTEK. The DTEK is managed in SA(Security Association) for direct communication defined inside a terminal.
