PURPOSE: A core-shell type negative electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery, and the lithium secondary battery including thereof are provided to improve the electrochemical property of a solid electrolyte interface film formed on a negative electrode. CONSTITUTION: A core-shell type negative electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery comprises a carbon material core unit, and a spinel type metal oxide shell unit formed on the exterior of the core unit. A spinel type metal oxide included in the spinel type metal oxide shell unit, is marked with chemical formula 1: M1M2_2O_4. In the chemical formula 1, M1 is Li, Na, K, Be, Mg, or Ca. M2 is Al, Ti, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, or Zr. |
