<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrically-driven compressor in which deterioration in refrigerant suction efficiency can be prevented without allowing oil to accumulate in the lower part of a housing. <P>SOLUTION: The electrically-driven compressor 1 includes: a motor 8, in which a stator 6 and a plurality of coils 7 wound around the inside of the stator 6 are housed in a motor housing 2a so as to generate a rotational driving force; an inverter 9 for controlling the driving of the motor 8; and a compression mechanism 11, in which a rotating rotor 10 is rotated by the driving force of the motor 8 in order to compress a refrigerant introduced thereinto after passing through the motor 8 from the inverter 9 side; and a closing means 21 that closes passages between the plurality of coils 7, through which the refrigerant introduced into the compression mechanism 11 after being introduced to the motor 8 passes, and reduces the cross-sectional area of a refrigerant passing part, into which the refrigerant is introduced, in the motor housing 2a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
