<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game board fixing device with which a game board is smoothly stored in a game board-storing recess without paying excessive attention, and unfixing and removal of the game board are considerably facilitated. <P>SOLUTION: The game board fixing device includes: a base frame 2 fixed to a game board mounting surface 105a; a receiving frame member 4 pivoted on a fixed shaft 3 of the base frame, freely turning along a surface orthogonal to the game board mounting surface, and fitting a side edge of the game board 104 therein; a first resilient unit 26 turned and urged to be separated from the game board mounting surface; an operation member 5 overlapping with the outside of the receiving frame member, perforated with sliding shaft holes 23 into which the fixed shaft is inserted, and provided with a shaft pin 25 parallel with the fixed shaft and inserted into a slot 17 perforated in the receiving frame member; and a second resilient unit 20 for urging the receiving frame member and the operation member to be separated from each other. The sliding shaft hole includes a circular hole portion 23a for fitting the fixed shaft therein, and an elongated groove portion 23b communicating with the circular hole portion and having a width smaller than the inner diameter of the circular hole portion 23a.
