<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens drawing device that sufficiently ensures energization force for a drawing ring by an elastic body and is able to displace the drawing ring in the direction of an optical axis by the elastic body and to provide an imaging apparatus and portable electronic instrument. <P>SOLUTION: A holder 4 supports the drawing ring 3 so that the ring 3 is freely rotated. The rotation of the drawing ring 3 by an operation lever 5 switches the position of engagement of a cam face 6A, 6B formed on the drawing ring 3 or holder 4 with an abutting part 7 formed on the unselected one. As a result, a lens unit 2 held by the drawing ring 3 is displaced in the direction of the optical axis. A placing face 3c is formed on the periphery of the drawing ring 3, an elastic body 8 is arranged on the placing face 3c, and the elastic body 8 is brought into contact with and supported by pressing means 9. A plurality of projecting parts 3d, 9e, and so on are formed on the face 9d where the placement part 3c and pressing means 9 face each other.
