An airbag device is configured so that affixation cloth comprising sheets of cloth can be easily formed on the airbag to reduce the work time required to form the affixation cloth. An airbag device comprises an airbag (20). The airbag (20) has affixation cloth (30) affixed to a vehicle body. The affixation cloth (30) is folded a predetermined multiple number of times. The affixation cloth (30) is joined to the airbag (20) and thus the affixation cloth (30) is formed on the airbag (20). The folded affixation cloth (30) is joined to the airbag (20) and affixed to the vehicle body.
