PURPOSE: A thermal insulation structure of a stand-alone liquefied gas tank and a forming method thereof are provided to improve the insulative effects by attaching a thin fixed plate to the outside of a tank body and forming an insulation structure on the fixed plate. CONSTITUTION: A thermal insulation structure of a stand-alone liquefied gas tank comprises a plurality of fixed plates(11), an insulating layer(15, 16), a stud bolt(3), and a pad(12, 13). The fixed plates are installed outside the body of a tank accepting the liquid gas. The insulating layer is formed by spraying the insulating material on the fixed plate. The stud bolt attaches the fixed plate in the tank body. The pad is allowed in between the fixed plate and tank body and separates the fixed plate from the tank body. |
