<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a snap hook with a lock that is small in size, light weight, excellent in operability, safety, and convenience, and capable of locking when necessary. <P>SOLUTION: A female hook 1 comprises a rotation member 9 having recessed space part into which a protrusion 4 of a male hook 2 is inserted, and a lock piece 24 having an opening for controlling engagement and disengagement of the protrusion. The rotation member has a key contacting portion as exposing on the top surface thereof, and is rotatably fit in an opening of an upper case 8. The lock piece is made to cooperate with the rotation of the rotation member. An enlarged tip part of the protrusion of the male hook, which has a long axis and a short axis, is made to penetrate the opening of the lock piece and to be fit in the recessed space part of the rotation member. When the opening of the lock piece is positioned at an open position for the protrusion of the male hook due to rotation of the rotation member made by a key 20, the male hook and the female hook can be engaged with or disengaged from each other. When the opening of the lock piece is positioned at a lock position for the protrusion of the male hook, engagement between the male hook and the female hook is locked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
