The method involves controlling guiding of a robot device to an application nozzle (10) along a predetermined path (a) over an adding region. Planar limited application of low-viscosity corrosion protection fluid e.g. low-viscosity wax or oil, is enabled by the application nozzle on the adding region on an outer side of added components e.g. outer skin (1). A corrosion protection fluid coating (4) is left at the adding region, while maintaining a free adding gap of the low-viscosity corrosion protection fluid and producing an anti-corrosion barrier layer on the adding gap. The application nozzle is designed as a pipe wax nozzle.
