<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which has a small-sized circuit, keeps sufficient autofocus performance, and obtains a high quality picked-up image even when shooting high definition video. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging device includes: an imaging element in which pixels for imaging are two-dimensionally arrayed and in a part of the array, a plurality of pixels for focus detection are arrayed; a pixel value addition circuit for adding pixel values of multiple pixels at a predetermined pixel interval in the imaging element; and a correction circuit for outputting the result of correcting a first pixel addition result of the pixel value addition circuit of the case where the multiple pixels include the pixels for the focus detection, according to a second pixel addition result of the pixel value addition circuit of the case where the multiple pixels surround the pixels for the focus detection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
