The device has conveying units (24, 26) coupled with each other and operated with average velocities, where one of the average velocities is higher than other average velocity. The conveying units for receiving parts e.g. elongated parts, are provided on a hanger that is accommodated in predetermined distances provided by pitches (T1, T2), where one of the pitches is larger than the other pitch. A transferring unit transfers the parts between the conveying units in spite of different average velocities of the conveying units. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a system for coating parts (2) a method for conveying parts by a device for treating parts.
