PURPOSE: A power saving system capable of user registration and a user registration method thereof are provided to accurately registering desired user identification(ID) among ID information transmitted from a plurality of signal generation devices. CONSTITUTION: A power saving system includes a power saving device(10) and a signal generation device(20). A signal receiving unit(101) in the power saving device receives ID information from a plurality of signal generation devices. A control unit(102) in the power saving device detects the ID information of a different receiving point among the received ID information. A user ID registration unit(103) in the power saving device registers the ID information of the different receiving point as user ID.
