The method involves creating a vehicle act. The vehicle act is stored in a computer (5). Data related to a vehicle (1) such as vehicle registration number, agency number, reference configuration conditions, mileage, operating hours, fuel consumption and conducted inspections, are obtained. The data is used for a holistic consideration of vehicle and weapon system relevant logistic data in conjunction with logistic processes, organization structures, information structures and communication structures of military and police requirement maker/demander.
