A brushless DC motor is provided to improve operation characteristics of a motor by reducing cogging torque by improving shape and insertion structure of a magnet inserted in a rotor. A stator(10) has a hollow inside. A rotor(20) is installed to rotate in the hollow. A number of magnets(30) are formed to be shorter than the axial length of the rotor and are buried in the rotor. A slit part(25) is formed between one end of the rotor and the magnet. The slit part corresponding to adjacent magnets is prepared at the opposite position on the basis of the axial direction of the rotor. |
