PURPOSE: An array substrate for an organic electro luminescent device and a method for fabricating the same are provided to prevent light from leaking out of a first electrode and to improve reflection efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A substrate has a displaying area. The displaying area has multiple pixel regions. A switching thin film transistor and a driving thin film transistor are formed in each pixel region. A first protection layer(138) covers the switching and driving thin film transistor. A first electrode(147) touches the drain electrode(136).
